Today, I went to a family get-together for lunch. It was nice, but I started feeling not so great, so I left early, came home, and took a nap, and feel better now, but still not so great. I'm hoping getting to bed early tonight will help. I'm not really sure what's wrong, just kind of felt blah, maybe I ate something that didn't agree with me or something. Or maybe it's just that I haven't been sleeping well. Or maybe it's my body's last ditch effort to get me to eat sugary stuff. Who knows. It sucks, though, because when I got up, even though I got up earlier than I have been lately, I felt great. Energetic even. Hopefully I'll be over it in a day or two.
Anyway, here's what I ate (breakfast and supper anyway, no pics of lunch):
Breakfast -- Green eggs (eggs & spinach, run through the blender. Yes, I'm 38 years old and still prefer my spinach hidden in the eggs, not separate. Don't judge.) and a banana |
So basically, lunch was the meatballs and sauce, and some carrots and cauliflower and fruit. And when I got home, a banana. No, it wasn't an ideal snack, but I didn't feel good, and it seemed like it would help.
Supper -- leftover meatballs from lunch on a salad with more sunshine sauce, but thinned a bit with some mayo. |
